• 1/4 c fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp simple syrup
  • 1/2 c cold water
  • 3/4 c watermelon, blended
  • 1/4 tsp rosemary, roughly chopped
  • Ice cubes

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

  • To make simple syrup, simply combine 1 c water and 1 c granulated sugar in a pot and bring to a summer until all sugar has dissolved.

Step 2

  • Place in a container and chill in the fridge. This will last two to three weeks.

Step 3

  • Place about 1 c chopped watermelon in a blender. I found it necessary to carefully press it down with a wooden spoon, so all the chunks were touching the cutting blade. Blend until smooth.

Step 4

  • I also grabbed a sprig of fresh rosemary from the garden, took off a few needles, and broke them up by hand. I’m thinking it was about 1/4 tsp or so.

Step 5

  • In a glass, combine all ingredients, stir, garnish with small slices of watermelon and lemon, and enjoy!
