  • 3 Fresh Bartlett pears
  • 3 tablespoons Butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Sugar

Step 1

  • Pare, core and half the peaches; cut each half in thirds lengthwise.

  • Heat butter in a beavy skillet; add pears and cook about 1 to 2 minutes, turning once, until slices are golden and almost tender. (Cover while cooking.)Uncover; mix in sugar, lemon juice and jelly.
